Assuming that you have forgotten the AppleID that you used to previously activate the iPad, then you should be able to recover your AppleID and associated password here:

Unfortunately I dont have apple receipt. I bought it almost 10 years ago. I have itunes email address and all the others emails I used before for that ipad. Looks like my son change some settings and he dont remember iCloud email he created that day.
Transfer the data on your previous Apple ID to a new email so at least you have your data restored into another email. If too hard you will just have to press the option forgot username/password.
