My iPhone XS Max is lagging

iPhone XS Max 1yr old. Keeps lagging out of nowhere when I write a text message, using Facebook app, instagram or any other app.

tried to reboot the phone - installing all the apps again (not just rebooting from iCloud safe)...

what to do? It’s a software bug - everything is working fine in the hardware.
