Unable to transfer music from iTunes to new iPhone XS

iTunes says it is syncing but nothing gets transferred over. How do I get my music library transferred from iTunes to my new iPhoneXS?!

Music library did not transfer to new phone? I upgraded to an iPhone 11 pro max from a 8 Plus. My complete iTunes music library did not transfer over from my 8 Plus. Any idea why? Only a partial transfer was completed. Thank you.

Although it its geared fro a Mac, perhaps this article will help:

If you see error -5000, -69, 13010, or 13014 when you sync music from your Mac - Apple Support
