External Enclosure for MacBook Air SSD

Hi to everyone,

I've recently upgraded on MacBook Air 2017 my internal SSD Samsung 128 GB with OWC Aura Pro X2 480 GB.

Everything's going fine but I would like to use my 128 GB SSD as external.

Unfortunately on Amazon I've founded adapter with different SSD type, so I'm asking to the community how can I resolve this issue.

The SSD type is in attachment.

Which type of SSD is it? Is there adapters compatible?

Thanks for your time,

best regards

OWC sometimes has used or open box items for sale at a significant discount in the link I provide earlier. If OWC doesn't have one available now, then check back later.

Edit: Apple PCIe SSDs use a proprietary connector so your options are extremely limited.
