Hiya I've switched networks from EE to Giffgaff and I've transferred my old number over to the new network and my imessages isnt using my old number and I was just wondering how do I reset my imessages so then my old number will be being used when I imessage people instead of the number that came with the new sim

Old number not transferring over to iMessenger. Hey guys, I have recently transferred my old number to my new sim card but now my iMessages are still being sent from the sims original number after my old number was transferred and I cant find a way to change it to my old (current) number, any help would be great. Changed sim card but wanted to keep my existing number I recently changed my provider, but wanted to keep the same mob. number. I thought that I had set everything up fine and I had confirmation that my old number had been transferred across successfully. However I have just seen that for my iMessage and FaceTime apps, they are using a new number which I am struggling to revert back to my existing number. Please can someone provide some assistance?
