Transferring videos
I have an iPad two is it possible to transfer videos from it directly to a usb for storage?

Assuming that the signature appended to your question is correct - and your question relates to iPad2 with iOS8 - then no.
Recent devices that can run iOS12 or iPadOS13 are considerably more capable in this regard - in that most data/files visible within the now native Files App can be copied to/from external storage devices.
