PowerPC applications are no longer supported???!!!

We have been using a program for the last several months. Suddenly this week we tried to open it and got this message. There are no recent updates done on the computer except for Safari, but the program does not use the internet.

Looking for answers online I see people saying things like, "PowerPC applications haven't been supported since...", but those answers are unhelpful and not relevant to this situation. The program literally worked Monday, but not Tuesday. What changed and how do I fix it? We need to use this program!

IMHO it is unlikely that it is in the mac. unless one of the safety updates blocks it.

Did you check if it has access to the mac in SystemPreferences->Security&Privacy->Privacy? (I am not sure if this app needs that).

You may find help on the program's site itself or their help site.

Contact the app developer's tech support for more assistance. It is not an Apple product nor have you even given its name.

Please read Writing an effective Apple Support Communities question. We are here to help. We are all users. We are not mind-readers nor clairvoyants. We only know what you write down and tell us. Be specific and thorough. Include your hardware information and installed version of macOS. Try to write clearly. Think about what you want to say before you write it down, then re-read it to see if it makes sense.

FYI: These are user-only forums. This is not Apple Support. if you need to contact Apple Support, then contact product and tech support:  Contacting Apple for support and service including international calling numbers.

The problem seems to be with the computer as opposed to the program. The program is called Teaching Textbooks Pre-Calculus 1.0. It has a minor installed portion and the rest runs from discs that contain data. It is a math program for a student. Removing the program and trying to install it again only gives the same results and there is nothing with the program itself that has changed. Even the installed portion comes from the discs so we are using the same data and files we have always used. I do plan on contacting the developer to see if they have an idea for a fix, but it seemed reasonable to reach out to the community here to see if others were having similar issues and if solutions have been identified since it seems more likely to be a device related problem.
