I have a communication app that for some reason is not appearing among the apps displayed in the share icon of iPad. Does anyone know if we can add an app to the share icon? If yes, what are the steps?

While you can move apps around within the share option by tap and holding an app, ( so the apps you regularly share with appear earlier in the icon list ) unfortunately you cannot add additional apps to the app share feature.
