Hi, Does anyone know if I click the side switch to turn the iPhone 11 pro max from normal mode to silent with vibrate on silent turned ON, does the phone vibrate or not when I click the switch?
the phone vibrate fine when there is a call or notification. But there is no vibration when I click the switch changing from normal to silent mode.

You should get a Haptic feedback when you turn it on (if you have enabled it in Settings>Sounds&Haptics>...last option a the bottom). And you should see also a small alert message at the top of you screen.

No idea about model 8, but I do not think so, Alcapa.
Before the current XR, I had a model 7, and that specific alert had the same impact. It is and it was perceptible only by your hand (when you turn that switch on), not by your ears :)

the Haptic feedback is quite short and barely perceptible.
Yes, that's all you can get. It's not a "real" vibration, it's a low feedback sound alert. But, to my knowledge, there's no way to adjust its volume/perception.
