I have a iMac (24-inch, Early 2009) running OSX Yosemite10.10.5 and I would like to a newer version software. The website says my this machine can run Catalina but when I try to get the software the message comes back that it is not capable...ant tips out there? Thank you!

That model can not be upgraded beyond El Capitan (10.11.6).
