Hi - do I have to join Apple Music in order to download my music stuff from icloud. I have it available on my iPad and iPhone, but I tried to install on my new Macbook Pro and I can't seem to find out how to do it short of subscribing to Apple Music, which I'm not ready to do

Music you have purchased from the iTunes Store can be re-downloaded from the cloud per these steps: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519
Non-purchased music is only in the cloud if you have put it there via a subscription.
