Watching movies in computer’s itunes on my ipad

My Apple TV 3 allows me to watch movies that are in my computer’s iTunes on my TV by selecting “computer.” Is there any way to do this with my iPad Air 2? I mostly watch movies on that, not my tv.

You can access Home Sharing in the TV application > Library > Home Sharing.
