does anyone know how to reset an iPad the you have forgotten the id and password to. Old iPad. My kids have done something to it and now it is stuck in activation lock and I don't remember the password or Id we had associated with this iPad.

Your Apple ID is an email address. You signed into here with an Apple ID, so I assume that you had another Apple ID in the past. You can try this.
