Problem with my disc space?

i have a half of disk free, but when i want to transport 4,4 gb film to flash drive (6 gb) ... on my mac pops up a window claiming, that there is not enough place on my disk... where is the problem?

On my previous computer, I was using Final Cut Pro X 10.4.5, and since I wanted to avoid downloading such a heavy application again, I copied it onto a hard drive. Later, I just pasted it into the applications folder on my Macbook Air. Final Cut Pro X launches perfectly, but when you try to import some media you get a message saying "Not Enough Disk Space: There is not enough disk space available at the selected destination. Please choose another one or clear some space." I do not have any rendered files, I am opening FCPX for the first time on this new computer. My Macbook Air has about 160gb of unused space on it!

My MacBrook Pro 13 is low on disc space. When I try to download the latest software update, I get a message there is not enough free space? I just did a backup to my G-Drive. What Format is the Flash Drive?

Fat/32 has a 2 to 4GB limit depending on implemetation.
