Downloading and Installing Mojave

I'm on a 2017 MacBook Pro running Sierra. I want to upgrade to Mojave, can't go any further with the software I need to run. Anyway when I try to download Mojave from the Mac App store it gives an alert saying that "This copy of the Install macOS Mojave.app application is damaged, and can't be used to install macOS." Anybody know why I can't download it? Is there another source to download Mojave?

Thanks Macjack, I should have been clearer.

I have not downloaded it from the App Store since it is no longer listed. I have now learnt that even if I can download it, I cannot install it on my ageing iMac.

Now I have to find a way of downgrading Pages on my laptop so that I can use the same documents on both machines...
