How to free up space from the Other folder ?

My Mac's 20GB space has been consumed by other folder, how can i free up that space ?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

Yes, Start by looking for the obvious big files

In Finder click Go then Go to Folder and paste in

~/Library


Click on the size column to show the biggest folders like Application Support which contains iOS backups, and Mail and Caches etc. If you need any help removing them come back but as Terence says if the big one is your Mail folder or ios backups then you'll need to decide if you need them.

Could be years of photo heavy messages too
