One Apple ID per device owned. However, one Apple ID can be used on many devices. In a given family each person should have their own Apple ID. If they all use the same computer, then they should each have their own user account.

You can have as many Apple IDs as you want to have, but you only need one, and having more can create problems. The isn't a way to look up all the Apple IDs you have.
