Apple TV content not playable on fire cube

Purchased a movie the other day on iTunes and wanted to watch it on my fire cube through the Apple TV app it whenever I go to try to watch it Apple TV gives me a notification that says: This type of content is not currently compatible on your device. To play, try again using an Apple device or iTunes
