ipod touch wont sync to itunes

After latest windows 10 update ipod touch 3G wont sync to the itunes version downloaded from windows store. says no ipod touch iphone or ipad found. Also says ipod support service not found. Have updated drivers for ipod. Apple support service not found in add remove programs. Thanks
