Updating apps

When i go into the app store to update my apps, the section just buffers leaving me unable to update my apps. I’ve tried restarting my phone it works for one update and then repeats itself by buffering for the rest of the updates. Can anyone tell me how to help? I have ios 13.3. Thanks
