Mac Pro and Digital Performer

New Mac Pro and new Digital Performer 10, and new Motu Midi Express XT don't seem to work together.Mac Pro doesn't see my MIDI connections.

midi connection lost after I updated to Mojave HI! I just updated to Mojave and now my M audio UNO USB midi connection to my macboook pro !).14.5 stopped recording . Somehow the connection is not working even though M Audio uno is supposed to be compatible with mojave. Audio MIDI setup missing built-in output I am trying to set up the ability to take screen recordings with internal sound but the Audio MIDI setup doesn't show the option for built-in output. I have Big Sur with M1 chip. I have installed BlackHole, tried Soundflower, iShowU, OBS, QuickTime etc. I don't think the problem is in the apps but my laptop itself. I also tried to restart the laptop and login on safe mode but the problem remains. I have tried to google this and no one else seems to have this problem (or then I don't know how to google properly). I had the built-in output option on my old laptop running High Sierra, so I know how to function the Multi-Output Device.

Imported MIDI Files Not Making Sound... Sometimes? As suggested in the title, when I import MIDI files into Logic Pro 10.7.9, they don't make sound... sometimes. I'll elaborate; When I first drag the MIDI file into my project, it creates new tracks based on the midi files' instruments. They all make sound, as you would expect. The problem arises when I drag one of those imported regions onto existing tracks. It won't make sound. Then I drag a different imported track onto an existing region and–wait–it makes sound? I'm really confused, please help! I've attached a video (no audio, sorry) to show this happening. I have solved the problem by changing the Mac Pro security setting to "allow" the loading of the MOTU midi software update. Now have all the studio midi equipment being recognized by DP.
