Apple payment

I received and email telling me that if I don’t update my payment information that I will get downgraded back to the smaller storage. I went in and followed the prompts to enter my new card info. I got everything entered and hit done and it says that that card information is already on file (but what is actually on file is expired! ). It will not let me update my payment information. How else can I update so I don’t lose service?

Trying to add the same card can cause problems. Do you see an option to update the current card?


If necessary, contact iTunes Support. Either use the form or scroll to the bottom of the page in the 2nd link. Follow through the screens to get a chat or telephone option.

Log into your account in the App Store/iTunes and you should be able to change it there. Or you can click the blue Edit payment methods in the article below. When signed in and the page loads, you will be on the credit card page. After updating that, click the Go Back button at the lower left and you will be on the address page.

Yes, I’ve done that three times. This is the screen that keeps popping up. It will not let me remove my old payment and when I add the new payment it will not save it - it says that that payment is already on file. The card number is the same. Only the expiration date and security code are different. Do you think that is the issue?
