I put a photo in Final Cut Pro timeline. Bottom 3/4 of was not displayed

I put a Photoshopped photo in the Final Cut Pro timeline. When it displayed in the timeline, only the top 1/4 of the photo was displayed. All the other photos I put in the same timeline did not have that problem.

I tried a lot of different things to correct the problem and nothing worked.

Photoshop used to have an option to save PSD files for "Maximum Compatibility". That is probably necessary. That option may be in Preferences... but I seem to remember it was also in the save dialog.

You did not say what you have tried, so...

If you don’t need to access the layers in FCP X, export a png version of the file. That should do it.

If you do need the layers, tell us more about the file. Is it in rgb? How many bits per channel? Anything different about it compared with the ones that work?
