Apple Music

I’ve always just downloaded songs to my own library but I’d like to know what the advantages of Apple Music are? Do I lose my own library? If I download songs and then later end the membership do I lose the new songs I downloaded, or is that even how it works? Sorry, I’m just unfamiliar with it!

Purchase songs on Apple Music Hey guys, I am very curious about Apple Music. If you subscribe into it, and listen million of musics, but when the subscription over, you will lost all of your playlist, downloaded music(s) and etc. Right? But, what happen to your music(s) when you purchase a single song or album? Does it last forever? Or after several months it will dissapear? Which songs do I own vs. Apple Music subscription library I have a large collection of songs in my library from CDs and music I purchased from other sources (not from Apple). How can I see which songs are song I own versus what I added to my library from my Apple Music subscription? Thanks for your help!

You do not lose your own library, if you download songs from the Apple Music site and cancel the membership you do lose them, any songs you purchase from the iTunes Music Store you keep.
