It looks like you have the Magic Mouse 2, which has a non-removable rechargeable battery. There is a slot at the bottom of the mouse for you to plug in a Lightning cable to recharge the mouse.

If it is a newer model Apple Mouse, it is rechargeable. The charging port is on the bottom of the mouse.
