Hello,

Microsoft office 2011 won't open after the catalina update! what does this mean? Do i have to re-purchase Office again? Thanks

Office 2016 (updated), Office 2019, and Office 365 all work with Catalina.

Nope, Office 2011 will no longer work. You need office 2016 or better.
