My iPad is being restored and so far it has taken 12 hours and still no sign of it coming to an end. Is this normal?

Maybe if restoring from an iCloud backup and if you have quite a bit of data to be downloaded and restored back to the iPad.

I came out of settings and deleted a few âheavyâ apps, and it eventually stopped.
