Cant add my OUTLOOK mail

Hi!


I´ve had my mac since 2013, and always had my outlook mail on it. (on the mac mail app)

Recently i got an error that i had to put in my password, but no matter how many times i typed it in, or changed the password and tried again, i still get the same error.


"can't verify you mail or password"


I´ve logged on to my mail in safari so i know I have the right password. I ended up deleting all my mails from the mac to start over, and now all the accounts works fine, but not my outlook account - what am i doing wrong - or how do i fix it?


Thank you in advanced -and garden my english - I'm norwegian!

Open Keychain Access in Utilities, then either check the Password under that item, change it, or delete it and start over.


Enter the part after the @sign in the search bar.


You may have duplicate or more entries in Keychain Access.


If using a browser to login via WebMail works it's not Name or Password, but likely old passwords interfering.


There''ll be at least 2 entries, maybe more.


The trouble is that Mac Mail almost always chooses the old Passwords if you don't change or get rid of the old ones.

Hello!

I am experienced this similar problem of "Password Incorrect" few months back. I searched a lot over the internet then, I came across a blog that helped me out.
