iCloud photo transfer
I am having trouble transferring my photos from my old iPhone to my newly purchased iPhone. They have been backed up and stored in the cloud.

If you followed any one of the 3 procedures mentioned here:
Transfer data from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
the photos should have transferred over to your new iPhone.
If you were using iCloud Photo library, the photos should still be in iCloud once you log in with your Apple ID.
