Iphone 11 & 2019 honda crv apple carplay

I got an iphone 11 and it no longer connects with my 2019 honda crv for apple carplay use. I’ve disconnected and reconnected various usb cords, removed the phone from the list of paired devices and re-added it, but I still can’t get the apple carplay screen to come up and work like it used to. Anyone have tips for how to fix this?
