MacBookPro black screen

Hello, my laptop turns on but the screen is black....any solutions?

It's normal for a blank screen to appear once or more during startup. It

can be black, gray, blue, or a desktop picture. If an image doesn't

appear after a few moments, make sure that your display is turned on,

connected, and has its brightness turned up.


About the screens on your Mac as it starts up - Apple Support


Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

and

Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295



You can test with an external monitor as well—this may be informative.



In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"—
