bulk mail folder

recently a bulk mail folder showed on on MacBook Air. why? Most on my mail goes into that folder now.

who is your email provider? This would be a good question to search on their site for support.

Thank you for your quick response. I think you are right. Yahoo is my provider. I have researched their sites, but so far I cannot find if bulk mail can be removed. I just assume it can because mail operated without it for a long time. My guess is came with an update; although, I did not update it. My husband has an iPad with yahoo as provided but he does not have a bulk mail. I'll continue researching yahoo.
