How do I upgrade to the new reminders app on ios 13.3.1? I never saw any option to upgrade

If you do not see the prompt in Reminders then most likely you have already upgraded Reminders.

I accidentally closed out of the upgrade screen too fast so my app never upgraded and I never got the option to do it afterwards. I have since updated my phone to an iPhone 12 and I figured since I was getting a new phone, it would have the upgraded reminders app automatically, but it is still the old app despite having the new one on both my iPad and Macbook. Reminder app How can I get the latest version of the reminder app? I made the last update but the app has not changed, I have only 7 colors and I can not change the reminder icon. the first photo is a screenshot of my mother’s phone while the second one is from mine.

You're right, my mistake. I had read about the app's new features and since I rarely used the old app I didn't at first spot anything new. Your response prompted me to look more carefully. Thanks.
