Airpods not properly connecting with mac air

My airpods are connecting and disconnecting from my mac air and making a repeated beeping noise but are working with my iphone. Mac is completely up to date.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15

AirPods not connecting to MacBook Air My AirPods have been having some trouble connecting to my Macbook Air lately. They say connected, but no sound comes out and soon after disconnect. They work fine with my iPhone, though. Anyone know how to fix this?

AirPods beeping and failing connection to MacBook My AirPods work well with iPhone, but when trying to connect to MacBook: I see that they are connected. Left or right of them starts beeping constantly (with sound which is played when they are put in the ear, but beeping very quickly). After a couple seconds of that beeping they go disconnected, then connected again automatically, and all that stuff repeats (go to Step 1). So, I'm unable to connect them to my Mac. They don't connect to any MacBook (I tried couple of them, Mac OS Catalina, newest version). Of course: * Unpair/Pair doesn't help. * Resetting the AirPods doesn't help.

I've done that and reset twice and it still isn't working.
