how do i download the apple tv+ app on my iPhone Xr

Apple TV + doesn’t have its own app. Its a subscription service accessed from the Apple TV app which if not already on your phone is available in the App Store.

If the TV App isn’t already in your iPhone you can get it from the App Store. There is no stand alone  tv+ App. It’s a channel or service found within the TV App
