Apple Mac Book Pro abruptly shut off. Tried to restart after a few minutes by pushing power button and would not restart?

What else can I do besides click on power button to start and will not start!

Fixed by leaving it off for one hour and then pressing shift control command and turn button all at same time.

sorry, what do you mean by "turn button all at same time" ?

also, did this fix it once for all ? or has it shut down again after this ?
