How do I connect these two iMacs together to use the mid-2011 iMac as a second display for my new 2019 27" iMac? I have tried connecting a Thunderbolt cable to the new Thunderbolt to USB-C apple adapter, but the 2011 display does not show up. thoughts? Thanks.

Thank you. I put the old iMac to sleep a couple times, then presses and held Command F2 for a couple seconds. That worked.
