Why can't I add songs to my iPhone any more?

I can't download iTunes, can't manage my music onto my iPhone any more. Ive bought the newest 1`6" MacBook and an iPhone X. I used to be able to drag songs from iTunes onto my phone, but now it doesn't even appear on my computer in "music" (where the heck is iTunes)!!

Can't see songs on iPhone with iTunes I have 63 songs on my iPhone 12 mini (these songs were on my old iPhone XR and were transferred to the iPhone 12 when I restored the iPhone 12 from the iPhone XR backup). I can play the songs with the Music app on the phone, but when I connect the phone to my PC running iTunes, "No items" show up when I look at the music on "my device." How can I see the music that is on my phone with iTunes?

Itunes shows no music on my device Hi, I have 16,48 GB of music on my iphone. Have had the music for years. I just installed Itunes on my PC, so that I could download the music to Itunes. But Itunes wont list any music on my device. How do I make Itunes recognize all the music on my iPhone (iPhone 12). Regards Andreas

iTunes is not available on Catalina.
