I have an iPad that I lent to my daughter but can’t remember the password to get in. Am I able to delete the device off of my cell phone and iCloud and just let her take it out for and start with a fresh new iPad?

I gave my daughter my old iPad. I cannot remember the passcode to get into it. It is on the same iCloud as my cell phone. I would like to be able to wipe it clean give it to her and let her put it on her account? What do I do?
