I keep getting prompted to log into my apple ID on my macbook pro "to sign into iTunes store", however whenever I put in my password, it doesn't recognize it. I have been able to use the same ID/password to purchase apps recently or log into this help page, so I am wondering why I keep getting this apple ID prompt on my computer!

I am in a constant signin/password loop when signing into my Account Settings in the App Store on my Mac Mini. When signing into the App Store Account Settings, I enter my Apple ID, then I enter my password. Then it sends me back to Apple ID (unless I enter the wrong password as it stays on the password prompt). So I know I'm entering the correct information. In iTunes, I am able to enter the iTunes store with my Apple ID and password, and my payment method is correct/up to date. In iTunes, I am able to enter the Account Settings and information with no problem. Any suggestions?

App Store Asking to Sign in with Incorrect ID When trying to update all non-uninstallable apps (iMove, Key Note, Numbers, etc) on my MacBook Pro, iTunes/App store is requiring I sign into an apple ID I do not have access to instead of the one that it is already logged in to. The old apple ID is one I have previously used back in the iPod Touch days and no longer have access to the phone number attached to the two-step verification, but do have its password. No one who has previously used that login uses it anymore. I have tried logging out and logging back into the App Store using the *correct* ID, updating the operating software, and rebooting my computer with no luck. It tries to log in with the wrong ID, and when I type in the correct ID/Password, I get this error, which will loop in perpetuity until I click cancel. This effectively makes my computer one really expensive internet browser, which is both a waste of money and time as I purchased this computer to use creative apps. Help!

AppleID do not accept the correct password while signing to App Store I cannot sign to the Apple ID in the App Store. System do not accept the password, even though the password is correct. I used it now to sign up to Apple support as well. The problem occurs on both Mac computers. New Mac with macOS Big Sur and my old Mac with OS X Yosemite version. I tried to uninstall App Store app on old computer, first in launchpad and then in Finder but I got a message App Store can"t be modified or deleted because it's required by OS X. Please help

Are the updates in iTunes that were made using a different Apple ID?
