When I go to the App Store to download High Sierra 10.13, I get this message: This copy of the Install macOS High Sierra application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install macOS. What do I need to do?

Naw, it's just that you have an old copy already in Applications, there are 2 cures...
Disconnect from the Internet & set the Date back to 2014, then you can run the Install MacsOS High Sierra App in Applications.
Or... trash the App in Applications then a new copy can be downloaded.

Open your Applications folder and look for Install macOS High Sierra.app, move it to the Trash, empty the Trash.
Connect your mac to your router via cable, Restart your mac go back to the App Store and download High Sierra.
Nevermind, you find it in Finder under applications, then command=delete keys to delete it. Apple ask for your admin password to do this.
Move it to the Trash and try to download it again.
I have the same message in App Store as dburchi1 trying to download High Sierra. When you say "move it to the Trash...", what "it" are you referring to ? I haven't downloaded anything . I merely wine to the App Store to get High Sierra. So I can't determine what to trash. I'm on Yosemite now
the damaged high Sierra file won't drag to the trash, it pops back out?
