Recently, I can't group text when someone has an android. I have always been able to, and I can't send android users pictures. I have the SMS and MMS on. Is it because when I am home, I don't have cell service and I am using the wifi? I am able to send other iPhone users pictures and group text them.

Yes, that is why. Group messages that contain non-iOS devices require a cellular connection, and cellular data. These group messages are MMS, which requires cellular data. While iMessage will work with wi-fi, SMS/MMS will not.
