I am having this same issue. The dimensions would be correct (checking over and over again) and then Apple would report back that they weren't. Are they resized once uploaded into the page?

The dimensions are 1407 x 1378 px. It must be square, and minimum 1400 x 1400 pox.
Thanks. I've uploaded it as 1400 x 1400 which means the SquareSpace processing must be doing something.
I have no idea how to remedy this if I am uploading this with the correct dimensions. And I've had other people check just in case I have it wrong.
I'm afraid I can't help you with Squarespace. Perhaps you could try hosting your image somewhere else?
