I recently bought a Mac Pro 2019 workstation. I'm not satisfied about Catalina OS pre-installed.
I tried to create a second partition with Mojave OS, (I disabled before T2 security chip) but seems that in this machine is a bit complicate to do install also Mojave.
Someone can help me? Thanks.
In general,
"A Mac can run no version of MacOS OLDER than the one it shipped with initially."
That is because the drivers for its custom Hardware are only available in the initially-shipping version. Older versions do not support its Hardware properly.

I suspected about this.
I have a lot of software that no run on this Mac, include the possibility to update Catalina or other updating, because the OS doen't reconize psw of my new account of Apple. :-(
This time apple let me down.
There is a way to Install Mojave indirectly.
To do this, you install a Virtualizer or Hypervisor, such as Parallels desktop or Virtual box. Then you add the second MacOS on the Virtual machine it creates for you.
It is way more complicated that a direct install..
Haven't yet heard of anyone being able to go backwards with the beast yet.
Beast? I have a previous one too of Mac PRO Workstation with lower hardware (Mojave OS) and trust me... it's more fast of this new one.
Supposed to be an awesome beast, but an ugly beast for some.
