How can I retrieve my deleted text messages from my Iphone

It's only possible if:

a) you do not use Messages in iCloud feature (check under Settings > Your Name > iCloud)

b) you have a backup that contains them.

Then restore your iPhone from a backup but note that all of the data that appeared on your iPhone since you've made a backup will be erased.
