watch app won’t download??

A few months ago, I might’ve deleted the apple watch app while clearing up space on my phone. I never thought I would own an apple watch, but recently I’ve gotten one as a gift. The phone and watch won’t pair and i’m certain the missing app is at fault. The app won’t download. It says “unable to download try again later” and it never makes any progress.

Apple Watch App My Apple Watch shows an update available and will not update. I’ve been trying 36 hours. Gave up and decided to start over. I deleted the Apple Watch app. Now I visit the App Store and it only opens the watch app. But I have no watch app displayed on any of my phones screens. I cannot find how to get the app to reset, so I can simply tap to open it, or how to force it to update my watch. both devices are now fully charged. And both have been on chargers, WiFi, and Bluetooth. The watch app just keeps the update on “verify” and never updates. And now I don’t have access to the app without typing into search to find it

Apple watch app missing from phone My apple watch just disappeared from my I phone. I can see ot in the app store and it allows me to open it but not re-download. It is not in the list of apps under settings either. Any ideas?
