one airpod won't connect at all

My left airpod won't connect. I'll have to reset it and sometimes it will work but then later it will stop working and I'd only be able to listen through my right airpod. The left airpod is a replacement airpod. When I received it was okay for a couple weeks now it has this problem. Any advice?
