My Apple ID is an email address that is no longer a valid email. How do I change that ID to a new one?

How can I change my Apple ID to a new email. My current ID is an email that has been suspended by my internet provider.

Before you change your Apple ID

Sign out of all Apple services and devices that use your Apple ID. If you want to use your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to change your Apple ID, stay signed in with your Apple ID on only that device.
