I've used Mac Mail to import mailboxes I had backed up on a disc. When i import mail it tells me that the mailbox's have been added to the 'import' mailbox. However I am unable to find any Import mailbox anywhere in Mail.
I've tried closing and spending Mail, restarting my Mac but still the Import Mailbox does not appear in Mail.

I meant closing and restarting Mail
At the sidebar, you'll see 'On my Mac'. Hoover your mouse to the right side of it until you see 'show'. Click on it
I also have no"On My Mac" folder on the Mail sidebar
If you try to make a new mailbox e.g. in incoming mail, kan you choose 'On my Mac' as location?
