Unable to delete spam calendar events

So i’ve had about 5 or 6 spam calendar events show up for today with the usual ‘free prize’ and ‘your I Phone has been infected’ nonsense. It keeps throwing up notifications all day, and I am unable to delete them like you would to a personally created calendar event. Could somebody tell me how to delete these? Thank you

Regards, Ben

See if this works. I found it on the Web:

How to report and remove iCloud calendar spam

  1. Open Safari and log into iCloud.com
  2. Open the Calendar app.
  3. Open the spam event and click Report Junk.
  4. Tap ok.

When you report calendar spam as junk, it will also be removed from all of your Apple devices that are synced with that iCloud account.
